Gerren has been married to his high school and college sweetheart, Monyce, for more than 9 years, and they are raising two beautiful children, Zoe and Calen, in their hometown of Houston, TX. When he isn’t writing or teaching, he can be found dancing, traveling, cheering for the Houston Rockets and Texans, and volunteering with kids.
